Overview
You have completed your ground briefing and learned how your plane fly's. You and your FAA-certified flight instructor go over the pre-flight checklist. The engine starts, you feel the plane roll down the runway, and you are lifting off into a new 1 hour adventure. You see the World from a different view. You and your instructor are at the controls flying the plane and you can't wait until the next time.

When do the Flight Gift Certificates expire?
They expire after 6 months by default or in accordance with applicable laws in the state in which certificate is to be redeemed, which ever is greater. Extensions are available.
Are there any requirements?
Yes. The recipient must be at least 18 years old. There is no maximum age. The recipient must also be a U.S. Citizen and may need to provide proof of citizenship at the time of the flight. Exceptions to these rules are up to the flight school operating the flight. Please contact us for more information.
Can the recipient bring a passenger?
This is up to the participating flight school. Note that some schools operate 2 seat aircraft or have a policy against passengers on training flights. Please contact us and we will check with the school for you.
Is this safe?
Flying is very safe. However, you should be aware that the recipient will be flying in a light aircraft. Also, GiveAFlight.com does not operate the flight lessons. Flights are operated by independently owned and operated flight schools, who are regulated by the FAA.
